"Know well the condition of your flocks, and give attention to your herds, for riches do not last forever; and does a crown endure to all generations? When the grass is gone and the new growth appears and the vegetation of the mountains is gathered, the lambs will provide your clothing, and the goats the price of a field. There will be enough goats' milk for your food, for the food of your household and maintenance for your girls." - Proverbs 27:23-27 ESV

Meat Birds
We raise Cornish Roaster chickens to sell. We feed them organic feed and let them enjoy the grass, weeds, and bugs they find in their outdoor tractor. They are not given any antibiotics and we supplement their diet with herbs to keep them healthier. They are $4.25 per pound packaged whole. If you want them cut up we charge an extra $2 per bird. We are butchering the end of June and mid-September.
We also raise bronze broad-breasted turkeys to sell in early November. We prefer bronze over white turkeys because they are hardier. There are some black spots on their skin because of the dark feathers. This is totally normal. They are raised the same as the chickens. The turkeys are $4.50 per pound.
