Produce
We love to garden! We plan the garden in the winter, start most of our own seedlings in February, March, and April; and plant as soon as the snow melts.
We use the best seed we can find from companies that believe in sustainable agriculture. We never use Genetically Modified seeds.
The goats, chickens, and turkeys provide us with more than enough fertilizer for everything to grow without chemicals. We are in the garden almost daily so we can tell when we are having bug issues. We pick them off, use ashes, or get some ducks out there to eat the pesky insects.
When we have an abundance of produce, we are more than willing to sell the extra. Let us know if you would like something specific and we will let you know if we have what you want.
Black Caps and Blackberries grow wild on our land. If you would like to pick your own, come visit in late June through August.
